Responsible for the provision of information relating to school visits and journeys. Support for schools , units, services and Education Visits Co-ordinators in the development of policies, appropriate risk assessments and  practical implementation. Monitoring of visits and their preparation.  (More specific information relating to the role is contained in DfES documentation - Standards for LEAs in Overseeing Educational Visits and the document sent to all schools and EVCs.)
