A Guide for Parents

This website aims to help you if you or your child is starting school for the first time, transferring from one school to another or if you are new to the area. It describes admission arrangements for our primary and secondary schools.

Please take time to read this website as it has been prepared to help you understand the admissions process. There are notes to help you complete the requests form. In particular I would draw your attention to the various Admission Criteria for schools in Middlesbrough, which vary slightly for each category of school, i.e. Community, Voluntary Aided and City Academies.
