Public Examinations
A decision on whether a pupil should be entered for external examinations is
made by the Head Teacher and is based on the combined professional judgement of the Subject Teacher, the Head of Department and the Head Teacher. This decision is reached over a period of time during which a pupil’s ability and progress are assessed and monitored. Where it is decided that a pupil should be entered for a public examination, the school will decide which is the appropriate examination and level of entry. Any queries in this respect should be addressed directly to the Head Teacher.
