Charging for School Activities

Pupils have the right to free school education for activities offered wholly, or
mainly during normal teaching time regardless of parents’ ability or
willingness to help meet the cost.

It is possible to charge for optional activities provided wholly or mainly out of
school hours, and each school’s Governing Body has determined its policy. Details are available from the Head Teacher of the school concerned.
