Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are pleased to confirm that there will be a HLTA assessment cohort running in Middlesbrough in Spring Term. The cost for each candidate will be £890, which will includes the cost of assessment. The TDA are currently funding assessment on a 2 month rolling contract, however there is no guarantee that this will still be in place for the time of assessment in Summer Term.

The three preparation days (Route 1 - HLTA Assessment Only) will be held on:

Day 1 - 22nd February 2012
Day 2 - 1st March 2012
Day 3 - 21st March 2012

In school assessment of candidates will be in Summer Term 2012. Attached are they key documents for colleagues who wish to go through the process to gain HLTA status. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any queries with regards to the process, or support is needed with regards to the completion of any of the key documents attached. These documents will also be available shortly on MGrid.

For colleagues who wish to go through Route 2, the dates and times will be confirmed once the need for these sessions is established. It is estimated that each day session will cost around £85 per candidate.
