School Support Staff
Welcome to the Teaching Assistants and Support Staff Staffroom
In recent years Teaching Assistants and Support Staff have begun to play an increasingly important role in helping schools and Local Authorities improve the quality of education for all children.
Middlesbrough LA acknowledge, and value this work, and are investing lots of time and money for Teaching Assistants and Support Staff working in Middlesbrough schools.
As the Advisory Teaching Assistant for Middlesbrough it is my intention to provide quality information, training, and guidance for all Teaching Assistants and Support Staff in Middlesbrough.
Training provides opportunities to enable school staff to develop and enhance their role in school. It also allows staff to progress through appropriate career paths. This doesn't necessarily mean that once you gain a new qualification it will increase your pay/salary.Within this Staffroom you will find News, Announcements, Notices, and Resources.
