Training for professionals working with pupils with a hearing loss
Middlesbrough Hearing Impaired Service
is offering a full day course focussing on how to help pupils with a hearing loss to achieve their full potential

9.00am – 3.30pm
This full day course is delivered by Teachers of the Deaf and is aimed at professionals working with deaf students of all ages in a variety of educational settings.
The morning session looks at the theory surrounding deafness and its impact upon a child’s ability to learn.
The afternoon session is a carousel of practical workshops where you can experience hands-on training in:
- trouble shooting hearing aids and radio hearing aids
- differentiating worksheets
- note-taking
- plenary session
