Teesside Nautical Studies

As part of Middlesbrough Council's Life Long Learning department, Teesside Nautical Studies is one of the countries largest providers of Royal Yachting Association Powerboat Courses. Based on the River Tees underneath the famous Transporter Bridge, many school and youth groups discover that powerboating sessions are not only fun but requiring young people to understand and apply instructions, whilst gaining confidence and making responsible decisions.

As well as having 9 powerboats to look after, we also operate M.V.Northumbria, a 15 metre converted motor fishing vessel designed to carry 12 passengers on residential trips. We can use her for a day out sea fishing or for longer residential trips to the Farn Islands or even to France.
