A. Yes, most if not all the Youth Centres run school holiday programmes. These differ from centre to centre. But generally they follow the theme of fun activities.

A. All Youth Clubs operate differently but usually there is a very small admission charge.
Q. How often are the Youth Centres open?
A. Generally speaking most Youth Centres are open when young people aren't at school which means late afternoon, evenings, weekends and school holidays. This does differ depending on which Club you attend.
Q. Do I have to do accredited courses at the Youth Centre?
A. No you don't have to do accredited courses but you will be encouraged to develop and learn new skills.
Q. What age do I have to be to join a Youth Centre?
A. You can join a Youth Centre from the age of 13.
Q. I have younger brothers and sisters, can they come to the Youth Centre?
A. Yes they can come along, but they need to be within the age range, which is 13 years old and over.
Q. I want to play football but don't think I'm good enough to join a proper team. Can I play in a team at the Youth Centre?

Being bullied can be very stressful for anyone, staff within the Youth Centres can support you in dealing with the issue. if you feel you are being bullied then please talk to someone that you feel you can trust. Q. Can I have access to a computer and the internet in a Youth Centre?
A. Most youth centres have internet access of some kind, if they cannot provide you with computing facilities, they will have contacts for you to go somewhere else, such as your local library.
Q. I have problems doing my school homework, can the Youth Centre help me?
A. Yes. Many of the Youth Centres have resources that may help you with your homework including books, computers, internet access, homework clubs. Also other young people are an excellent resource. Contact your local youth Centre.
